PHILIPPINE BIRDS

From the Album pre-template procured from Prospect Coins and Stamps Blacktown NSW

With so many things on my plate... These Philippine birds can't help, but help themselves with Australian birds seeds.

Birds in nature are purposed to help balanced the ecosystem.

As seed dispersers, they're best known as Forest workers.

They plant trees and flowers and are responsible pollinators besides the bees.

They're also a natural pest controller, but at times, they cause bird pest too.

Let's help them habituate where they should, and not harm them. Humans are given the task since creation that they should take care of these wonderful creatures.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️.  You have no idea how much the Pharmacy Stamp means to me.

Kind thoughts immensely appreciated.

Judge 😉 😜 😘

I finally got one!

"when one little squirt said – call me a fool,

but I don’t want to hang around with you all day –

so he left the others and swam his own sweet way."

(Extracted from Ten Little Tadpoles by Joanna of Miss Marple's Musings)

My take:
This froggy in my opinion only leaps once in every four years.  That would justify the "Leap Year" stunt.

Di ba Judge?  Salamuch gyud kaayo.  ❤️ 💙 💜

The rice terraces in Banaue, considered the 8th wonder of the world, belong to a civilization which flourished thousand of years ago.
These are composed of a series of rice paddies with each step measuring 10 feet tall. They were carved with bare hands and primitive tools. When joined from end to end, these terraces would span a distance halfway around the earth.
This engineering feat is a testimony of the patience and ingenuity of the Ifugaos.

Different regions of the Philippine Archipelago yield varieties of corals which are both colorful and and variable in form.
Most of the coral fanciers search
for corals that are different from the ordinary type.
The areas around Zamboanga, Jolo, Tawi-Tawi and the southernmost tip of the Philippines abound with various form of corals because of the strong warm current passing through these areas, which are not affected by the rampant blasting.

The graceful spires of the domed mosques at Taluksangay, Zamboanga is a sharp contrast to the conventional Christian Architecture dominating in most of the Catholic areas in the Philippines.
The presence of mosque in several provinces in Mindanao, indicates the spread of Islamic influence in southern Philip-pines, about two centurist ahead of Christianity.

The town of Calamba is on the shore of Laguna de Bay, a part of Laguna province, and about an hour ride from Manila. It is historically famous in the Philippines, being the hometown of DI. Jose Rizal, the greatest hero and martyr of the country•
The "Big Jar'' in the town plaza of Calamba was cons-tracted in 1938, as the town symbol.
Legend has it that the town of Calamba got its name from "kalan banga" Tagalog for clay jar, a popular household utensil used during the early days.

RIZAL PARK

STORY

The execution of Filipino patriot José Rizal on December 30, 1896 in the same area fanned the flames of the 1896 Philippine Revolution against the Kingdom of Spain. The park was officially named in his honor, and the monument enshrining his remains serves as the park's symbolic focal point.

LUNETA PARK

Formerly called “Luneta” from the French word Lunette which means a cresent-shaped fort, it was the site of “La Calzada”, the social hub of Manila's elite. It was also used by the Spaniards as an execution ground for rebels and activist. Dr. Jose Rizal was executed in Rizal Park on December 30, 1896.
